A slanted bed lets chips fall clear of the cut instead of piling on the ways, so the operator is not raking swarf out between cycles and thermal growth stays under control. On a CNC turning machine the turret also sits close to the cut, so each turning operation on a lathe machine finishes in fewer passes, which matters most on shafts, flanges and bushings. All five models share the same one-piece cast bed. TH520, 520T and 600T add a servo turret; 520T and 600T add a tailstock for shaft work.
XY36 and CK46 are the compact builds for smaller parts — a gang-tool layout with no turret and no tailstock. Figures in the tables are quoted against the New Generation control.
